Center for the Support of Non-formal Education (CeNef)
The Center for the Support of Non-formal Education (CeNef) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that was created in 2016. It was organized by experts trained in youth work and informal education. It focuses on non-formal education and through activities and events it spreads awareness of non-formal education and applies non-formal education in practice. Our major topics where we use non-formal teaching methods and techniques are following: critical thinking, safe behavior in the online environment and the development of soft.
The Center for the Support of Non-formal Education (CeNef) offers:
- a space for the ideas, importance, and benefits of non-formal education,
- a tool for education in the area of personal development and professional growth of a people from various sectors,
- an opportunity to combine an experience, expertise and practice of lecturers, trainers, teachers and experts in non-formal education with the creativity and dynamcs of active people.
Association for International Affairs, z.s. (AMO)
AMO is a non-governmental non-profit organization which main aim is to contribute to a deeper understanding of international affairs. AMO facilitates expression and realization of ideas, thoughts, and projects in order to increase education, mutual understanding, and tolerance among people. AMO formulates and publishes studies and analysis, organizes international conferences, expert seminars and public discussions, organizes educational projects, presents critical opinions and comments on both domestic and foreign media, and cooperates with many other domestic and foreign institutions.
Digital Intelligence (digiQ)
digiQ is a civic association that focuses on online safety and prevention. The main activities are to provide a hotline to report content and activities on the Internet that are illegal and violate human rights and fundamental freedoms. It provides lectures and training programs abou protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms and about opportunities and risks of the online environment. digiQ provides non-formal education for parents and professionals to build children’s resilience to the internet and promotes smart digital citizenship. The primary mission is to support digital citizenship in Slovakia, in order its citizens are actively involved in public affairs by using digital tools in a save way.
digiQ supports decent communication on the Internet, awareness of rights and responsibilities in the online environment.
digiQ works with major players from the private sector, public administration, and primary and secondary schools in Slovakia. It supports and applies equal approaches in prevention, education and experiential learning as well as in multisectoral cooperation and active policy-making and influencing. The civic association has trained numerous youth leaders who, under supervision, moderate experiential activities and discussions in secondary schools and represent young people in policies that affect them.
